We are educators, motivators, doers, pioneers, creators, friends, guides, allies, but most of all we are your coaches that are geared with an enormous amount of knowledge to make your success achievable and repeatable.

Jonathan Stuart

Owner, Manager, Coach

A soccer player turned CrossFit guru, Jonathan has been performing CrossFit for 9 years.

He was playing college soccer at St Johns University and was introduced to CrossFit through some friends who told him to try a workout called "Helen." Ever since then he's been hooked. A year later he went and received his certification and has been coaching ever since.  Him and his wife Zahraa met at college and opened Mt Sinai CrossFit in 2014. It was love at first LIFT!

Jonathan is not just versed in strength and conditioning he also has an extensive background in languages, philosophy and countries hes visited. He is also pretty good at making you laugh, or at least himself.

You can find him either eating, training, or discussing some travel experience or life experience he's had.

Domenica pring

Trainer

Domenica is not your typical athlete. After having her third child, she found a love for movement and exercise, starting first with races. Soon, she was looking for something more and decided to try out CrossFit. It was love at first WOD. You can see her at the gym on most days of the week working on her lifts and gymnastics work. She received her level 1 training in May 2015. Through coaching, Domenica likes to inspire those around her to always strive for improvement both at the gym and in the kitchen, because not only is she an athlete, but she is an experienced baker and chef. Feel free to ask her questions about nutrition whenever!

Chris Miceli

Coach

I started CrossFit in 2016, and got hooked. Being of military background it wasn’t hard for me to find love in CrossFit since I find joy in pain. The pain and suffering you go through with CrossFit is rewarded quickly, and that’s why I’m here. I love coaching, motivating, and pushing people past their limits for them to find undiscovered potential within themselves.

John McGuiness

Trainer

John has been involved in sports since he was three years old, but his passion was in-line hockey.  His desire to excel in all aspects of the sport led him to become involved in strength and conditioning … as with everything John does, he jumped in and gave this 110% of his effort.  John went on to attain a B.S. in Exercise Science from Lindenwood University in 2011. Shortly after college, he spent three years as an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach at Quinnipiac University, working with many Division 1 athletes, including the two-time Frozen Four runner up Men’s Ice Hockey team. He currently is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Coach (CSCS) by the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA), a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, and holds certifications in CPR, First Aid, and AED.

Alexa Titone

Coach

Alexa absolutely loves fitness, especially Crossfit. She is certified as a Level 1 Crossfit coach and  hopes to further her education of exercise science in the coming years. She is currently a Biology student at Stony Brook University with an interest in becoming a physical therapist. She is always motivated, enthusiastic, and loves to coach and watch our athletes at Mount Sinai better themselves.
